[Another] House Update!

I've got another house update for you!  Yesterday my mom was able to come down and visit for a post-Mother's Day shopping trip!  We had a great lunch at The Cheesecake Factory (with a delish red-velvet cheesecake for dessert) and went shopping.  It was great time!  In addition, my mom hasn't gotten the chance to look at our lot/property/house yet!  Derek and I knew we needed to take her out there asap!

So they finally started the brick....I'm so excited!  For some reason, I couldn't feel a sense of "completeness" until this brick started.  We have less than 30 days (yay) until we move in so I felt an urgency for this brick to get started, haha!

So hopefully this is a better picture of our kitchen cabinets.  They are a cherry color (as well as the hardwood floors in this kitchen).  If you can't tell, the hardware just got added too!

While we were there, the crew was putting up our staircase handrail and the spindles.  The rail will be stained the cherry color to match everything.

All the bathrooms got their vanitys and counter-tops installed.  We decided to go with maple spice and the  white marble in the guest bathroom

...I'M SO EXCITED TO SHOW YOU THIS!  SO our bathroom vanity in is...with our black granite counter-top!  This will be the same counter-top going in downstairs in the kitchen. As you can tell, they literally just installed this granite, so it is a bit dusty.  But I couldn't help snapping the pictures anyway!

Hope you are having a good week!
